hi there! new to tribe and new to portland oregon from los angeles... was a tigi hair model for the last few years but now that i'm in portland and there's no tigi academy here to model for my hair looks like shit!
i paid attention when i was modeling and i wanna do what they do... so i want to go to beauty school.
so there are 2 ways to do it right? regular courses where you have to go for 12 to 18 months and learn hair, nails, skin - the works - even if you just want to do hair... and then there's the competency courses where you just learn hair and get your license based on your competency - whether that's in a few months or the full year and a half.
what's the best route and can i be licensed with just the competency course?
also, what's the differences between a school like beau monde or paul mitchell?
